Prinicipal Investigator: Dr Amna Khan
Amna is a Senior Lecturer in Consumer Behaviour Manchester Metropolitan University Business School. Amna has strong ties with retail education, teaching retail managers from Tesco, Asda, Halford, Booths and the Post Office. Amna also remains in the post of coordinator for the Consumer Behaviour research group at the business school.
Amna has contributed to the Consumer Behaviour domain focusing her research specifically on consumption trends of South Asian Muslim inhabitants in the UK. And focused her recent investigations to the gift-giving practices within Muslim communities and how this has impacted retailers.

Co-Investigator: Dr Theeranuch Pusaksrikit
Theeranuch has previously conducted an extensive research project exploring ethnic minority gift giving behaviour in the UK. The project researcher has experience of working on projects in diverse cultures such as the UK, America and Canada. She has been awarded the prestigious McBride Fellowship by Waco University in Texas. Her research is published in international journals and she frequently presents her work at conferences at international and national conferences.
